Tampico High Density Brush Rollers (Hot Perforation) , High Density Brush Rollers ,
Tampico is a very resistant natural material which derives from the Agave Lechugilla (meaning little lettuce) plant found in Northern Mexico.
Native Americans used fibers from the leaves (commonly called ixtle, also a hard fiber known by the trade name Tampico fiber) to make ropes and mats.
Now, Tampico fiber is also being used in the industrial brush business.
It is resistant to most chemicals, including alkalines and acids and most importantly for us, it is heat resistant.
These remarkable natural properties coupled with a very fine, delicate and smooth texture, makes it the ideal material to use in the hot perforation process.
Our “Tampico” Cylinder Brushes are extremely uniform, presenting individual strands of bristle, rather than clumps or tufts.
Our Brush density is controlled during manufacturing, which allows unlimited bristle patterns from an “Open Design” to “dense Design”.
Our brush rolls are now used under craft paper, paperboard, Corrugated paper, Paper-Plastic laminates and flexible web products Such as PE, PPE, PPU, PVC, BOPP to name just a few.
The perfect brush for Hot Perforation applications.
